उलझे हुए दागो सी उलझी है जिंदगी

किताबो के कुछ पन्नो सी बिखरी है जिंदगी

दर्द को छुपाके मुस्कुराती है जिंदगी

चाहत को दिल में दबाती है जिंदगी

मोड़ जिंदगी के कैसे हैं अजनबी 

हर मोड़ कीअब  एक  मंजिल  है  नई 

उठ्ती हैं  पलके   आसमान  को  देखने  के  लिए  

पर  धुल  से  इन  पलकों  को   जुकiती  है  जिंदगी
छोटे  से  दिल  में  कई  अरमान  जग  जाते  हैं
उन  अरमानो  को  कभी  सहलाती  है  जिंदगी
उस  छोटे  दिल  में  ख्वाइशो    के  समुन्दर  बस  जाते है
उस  समुन्दर  में  सह्लiब  लाती  है  जिंदगी
आँखों  में  आंसूं  हों  या  होठों पे  हसी 

हर  मोड़  पर  चलना सिखाती  है  जिंदगी 

रिश्तों को तोडती है  जिंदगी

फिर उन्ही रिश्तों को जोडती है जिंदगी

अप्नो से कभी रूठतीहै जिंदगी

उन्ही अपनों को कभी मनाती है जिंदगी

कई बार हमको गिरiती है जिंदगी

फिर अपने ही हाथों से उठाती है जिंदगी

कभी तो रात भर सिसक सिसक के रुलाती है जिंदगी

फिर दूसरी सुबह खुद ही गले लगाती है जिंदगी

जिंदगी  की  भी  क्या  अजीब  दास्ताँ  हैं मरते  हुए  को  जीना  सिखाती  है  जिंदगी !

खामोश है ये दिन

खामोश है ये रात

कैसी है ये तन्हाई 

कैसी है ये बात

रो रहें हैं हम

तड़प रहें हैं हम

खुदा के आगे झुलस रहें हैं हम

ना देना ऐसी तन्हाई किसीको

हर दुआ में ये मांग रहें हैं हैं हम

बड़ते हैं आगे किसी का हाथ थामने को, पर वो हाथ छुट जाता है

मनाये क्या उस रूठे हुए को वो हर बात पे रूठ जाता है

दोपल साथ चलके हमारे, फिर हमें तनहा छोड़ गए

हमने सबसे मुह मोड़ा तम्हारी खातिर और तुम हमीं से मुह मोड़ गए 

दर्द देना था तो जिस्म का देते जिसके ठीक होने की उम्मीद भी होती

रोते बी उस ग़म में पर फिर भी कोई तकलीफ  ना होती

तुम क्या जानोगे तन्हाई का मतलब 

साया भी साथ छोड़ देता है

सब कुछ होता है आसपास 

पर रूह तक को निचोड़ देता है!
